Sellers guide

Simple steps for a successful trade

1) Provide detailed information. It's very important to describe the condition of your car, features and lease terms.

2) Upload exterior and interior pictures of your car.

3) Provide a cash incentive.

Provide detailed information. Information is a crucial factor for a buyer to contact you. The less information you provide the more skeptical a buyer becomes. Here are a few examples of information you should include:

a) Vehicle identification number - this allows buyers to check for a clean vehicle history
b) Lease end buyout value- buyers want to know if they can buyout your lease for a fair value
c) Options- Let them know you have features they are seeking

Pictures. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Let buyers see that you have a clean car so they can foresee themselves taking over your lease.

Cash incentive. Ask yourself this question, why would anybody want to take over my lease? If you have a short-term lease with an attractive monthly payment, you probably wont need to provide an incentive. Otherwise, you at least offer to pay the lease transfer fees and maybe a cash incentive if your monthly payments are high.
